When you submit our enquiry form we collect the details you provide: your name, phone number, email address (if given), postcode or area, the type of work, and your description of the job. If you call or email us, we keep the contact details and information you share so we can respond and quote.
When you use the site we also collect limited technical and usage data through analytics cookies (see Cookies below) — but only if you accept them.
We use your enquiry details to respond to you, prepare a quote, carry out work you ask us to do, and keep records of the jobs we complete. We use analytics data to understand how the site is used and to improve it. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.
We process enquiry and job data on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering a contract and performing that contract, and our legitimate interest in running and improving our business. Analytics cookies are used only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to measure visits and how pages are used. These analytics cookies are off by default and only load if you select "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you "Decline", no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which will bring the banner back.
The site also uses a small essential record of your cookie choice so the banner does not reappear on every page. This is required for the site to work and is not used for tracking.
Form submissions are processed by our website host to deliver the enquiry to us. Analytics data is processed by Google as our analytics provider. We share your data with these providers only to the extent needed to run the site, and we do not share it with anyone else except where required by law.
We keep enquiry and job records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax and insurance obligations, after which they are securely deleted. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics settings.
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details above and we will respond within one month.
If you have a concern about how we handle your data you can contact us first, and you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
